Privacy Policy
Effective: April 2026
The short version: Craving Holdout collects no data from you. Nothing leaves your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no third parties, and no network requests.
What we collect
Nothing. Craving Holdout does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage data, analytics, or identifiers. There is no backend server. No data is sent anywhere.
What is stored on your device
The app uses iOS local storage (AsyncStorage) to save two categories of information, entirely on your device:
- Session records — the outcome, duration, and timestamp of sessions you run.
- Preferences — your selected theme and first-run onboarding state.
This data never leaves your phone. It is not synced to iCloud, not backed up to any server, and not accessible to Nova Ventures Co. or any third party. Deleting the app removes it entirely.
Analytics and tracking
None. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising network, and no tracking of any kind. Apple's own App Store review processes may collect standard metrics (install count, crash reports) subject to Apple's own privacy policy, which is separate from ours.
Third parties
None. Craving Holdout does not share data with any third party because no data is collected. There are no embedded SDKs from advertising, analytics, or social platforms.
Network requests
The app makes no network requests. It works entirely offline and requires no internet connection at any time.
Children's privacy
Craving Holdout is rated 4+ on the App Store. Because the app collects no data from any user, there is no special handling required for users under 13. No personal information from children — or anyone — is collected or transmitted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Because no data is collected, changes are unlikely to affect you.
